principles as the European Reach, in particular:<br \/>\n&#8211; the concept of &#8220;no data &#8211; no market&#8221;;<br \/>\n&#8211; the preference for alternative tests compared to in vivo ones;<br \/>\n&#8211; access to information to workers;<br \/>\n&#8211; the precautionary principle.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">UK COMPANIES WITH EU-REACH REGISTRATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registrations made under the European Reach will automatically be transferred to the new UK-Reach through a process called &#8220;grandfathering&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;grandfathering&#8221; process includes two different steps:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 By<strong> April 30, 2021<\/strong> UK companies with a REACH registration will need to provide information to the HSE (Health And Safety Executive), the UK Competent Authority: substance identity, company data, registered quantity and evidence of the EU registration.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Within a deadline defined by the tonnage band they will have to provide specific information from the registration dossier.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div id=\"ts-advanced-tables-container-7455669\" class=\"ts-advanced-tables-container ts-advanced-tables-processing    ts-tablesaw-container >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">UK COMPANIES BUYING FROM EU SUPPLIERS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From 1 January 2021, UK companies that purchase from EU suppliers must be configured as importers under the UK-Reach and as such they will have to register.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 By<strong> October 27, 2021<\/strong> the UK importer will have to notify the HSE of his willingness to continue with the imports, and the notification is called DUIN (Downstream User Import Notification).
