class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The United Kingdom from January 31, 2020 is no longer a member state of the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>UK-REACH has been in force since 1 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The UK-Reach has maintained the same general principles as the European Reach, in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The concept of &#8220;no data &#8211; no market&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>The preference for alternative tests over in vivo ones.<\/li>\n<li>Access to information for workers.<\/li>\n<li>The precautionary principle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  wpb_animate_when_almost_visible wpb_fadeInLeft fadeInLeft\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>UK COMPANIES WITH EU-REACH REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Registrations made under the European Reach will automatically be transferred to the new UK-Reach through a process called \u201cgrandfathering\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;grandfathering&#8221; process includes two different steps:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 By 30 April 2021, UK companies in possession of a Reach registration will have to provide information to the HSE (Health And Safety Executive), the British competent authority: substance identity, company data, registered quantity and evidence of the EU registration.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Instead, within a deadline defined by the tonnage band they will have to provide specific information from the registration dossier.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div id=\"ts-advanced-tables-container-4128523\" class=\"ts-advanced-tables-container ts-advanced-tables-processing COMPANIES BUYING FROM EU SUPPLIERS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>From 1 January 2021, UK companies that purchase from EU suppliers must be configured as importers under the UK-Reach and as such they will have to register.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 By <strong>October 27, 2021<\/strong>, the UK importer must notify the HSE of its intention to continue with the imports, and the notification is called DUIN (Downstream User Import Notification).
