{"id":8572,"date":"2019-12-12T17:13:55","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T16:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dangerandsafety.it\/consulenza-adr\/"},"modified":"2021-09-20T12:21:42","modified_gmt":"2021-09-20T10:21:42","slug":"adr-regulation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dangerandsafety.it\/en\/adr-regulation\/","title":{"rendered":"ADR ADVICE &#8211; Transport of dangerous goods by road"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n<div class=\"ts-row wpb_row vc_row-fluid ts-total-col-1 ts-zindex-0 vc_row container ts-bgimage-position-center_center boomapps_vcrow\">\n\n        \n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\n<div class=\"ts-column wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12 ts-zindex-0 boomapps_vccolumn\">\n\t<div class=\"vc_column-inner  \">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">In Europe, <strong>the transport of dangerous goods<\/strong> by road is regulated by the international agreement <em>&#8220;<strong>ADR<\/strong>&#8221; (European Agreement for the International Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road)<\/em>, signed in Geneva on 30 September 1957 and ratified for the first time in Italy with the law n \u00b0 1839 of 12 August 1962.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #808080;\">The Community Directive 94\/55 \/ \u200b\u200bEEC of 11\/21\/94 subsequently made the transposition and application of these rules mandatory also to national transport.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The ADR is updated every two years by the WP 15 working group, and all substances, chemicals, objects containing chemicals and waste that present hazardous characteristics for transport are subject to it.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The legislation provides that every person involved in the handling and transport of dangerous goods has specific obligations formulated based on the type of goods transported, the degree of danger and the means used:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element  wpb_animate_when_almost_visible wpb_fadeInLeftBig fadeInLeftBig\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The <strong>shipper<\/strong> is obliged to classify, label the packages and prepare the transport documents as required by the various chapters of the ADR.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>carrier<\/strong> must ensure that the goods entrusted to him are authorized for transport, that the documentation that must accompany the goods is correct and present, that the labeling of the packages or vehicle is correct according to the substance or substances transported, and that the vehicle is not overloaded.
